Horse Trailer - or Horse Float (New Zealand term)
Shortly after we bought it home in Nebraska. 20 May 2009
Never did get around to taking fresh pictures after we painted and left Nebraska.
It has been sitting outside after the the 3 things that went wrong from moving Harmony from Georgia 4 hours north to North Carolina. - Photos taken yesterday in the late afternoon
A couple of miles down the road, James was pulling the trailer and had to stop from a secondary road onto a more major road and there was this big dip that caught the Jockey Wheel and pushed up and broke the welding.
Plus bend the alluminum front.
Photo also showing the vents, front feeding door opening.
About an hour away from our destination the wheel decided to fall off the
axle and went rolling along I-85. It did not hit anyone, but James had to walk about half a mile back down the interstate to fetch it, then we limped until we could pull off the side of the road and swap Harmony over to the otherside of the trailer for better balance.
Wheel, tyre and hub!
Two door opening, step up. No ramp which are often seen here in the States.
Still has Nebraska License Plates!
Center partition which swings, two rubber floor mats, open sided venting.
Optional opening/closing roof venting and front venting under the windows.
Side view, with escape door and tack door
Roof vent with some surface rust on the ceiling
