Welcome to Miss Harmony's Page

Harmony is a half quarter horse and half paint breed, with one blue eye and one brown. When we got her she was very shy and aloof for a whole year, to come around and actually want to come up to us and be patted. She is very polite and does not have any vices, since we have been feeding out each winter and she has got to know us she like attention.

This is Harmony when we got her home

We had a young woman come to ride Harmony this day 30 Sept 07 the saddle she has on belongs to this woman, who said she had never been bucked off. We warned her that Harmony had not been ridden for a long time and had been pastured out the back of the previous owners. Well she took Harmony around to the driveway and proceeded to get on her back from the back of her pickup truck. Harmony got spooked because she was higher than her and once this woman got on her back, she walked backwards into the bank and when she could not go any further lunged forward - yep the woman fell off and then Harmony ran off bucking and kicking in fright. The woman was OK, just hurt pride and a couple of bruises. It gave James and I a scare and goes to show that some people do not listen!
